A National Recovery Advocate of Eating Recovery Center’s Family Institute, Jenni Schaefer is an internationally known writer and speaker whose work has helped change the face of recovery from eating disorders. Appearing on shows like Today, Dr. Oz, and Dr. Phil, and in publications ranging from Cosmopolitan to The New York Times, she is the bestselling author of Life Without Ed; Goodbye Ed, Hello Me; and Almost Anorexic, a collaboration about subclinical eating disorders with Harvard Medical School. Her first book, Life Without Ed, has been released as a Tenth Anniversary Edition as well as audiobook. Jenni is also Chair of the Ambassadors Council of the National Eating Disorders Association and an accomplished singer/songwriter living in Austin, Texas.
